Jakarta, Warta9.com – Former Candidate for Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia 2019 who is paired with Prabowo who is currently Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno has just held the wedding of his first daughter, Anneesha Atheera Uno.
Sandiaga’s first child’s wedding took place at the Al Hikmah Mosque in New York, United States on Saturday, September 23 2023. He shared this happy and emotional moment on his personal Instagram page.
“As a father, being able to take his daughter to marriage is a very extraordinary moment. I have mixed feelings of emotion and happiness. However, God willing, I sincerely bless Atheera’s sister for living a new life with the man of her choice,” said Sandiaga.
The reason Sandiaga married his first child in the US was because Atheera and Panji Bahas Dwiprakoso worked and lived in Uncle Sam’s country.
The newest member of the United Development Party (PPP) revealed that Panji was Atheera’s school friend from Indonesia.
“It just so happened that (Panji) was Atheera’s school friend here (Indonesia) who continued his studies in the UK (United Kingdom). Then he continued his Masters in America, working in America,” said Sandi, quoted from CNBC Indonesia, Tuesday (26/9/2023) ..
“Panji and Atheera] have known each other for nine years, then finally when it came time to ask for approval (to get married), we immediately gave approval and immediately accelerated it,” he continued.
Ahead of his beloved daughter’s wedding, the 54-year-old minister admitted that he was nervous about Atheera’s wedding. He admitted that he did not expect that he would soon give up his little daughter to get married.
“I’m also nervous because I’ve never experienced this. The feelings are mixed with happiness. There’s sadness because I let go of my daughter. It’s a bit sad too. I can’t believe that time has passed so quickly,” said Sandi.
Based on his LinkedIn account, Atheera worked at the biotechnology research institute, MassBioEd Foundation, which is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA for three years. This woman, born in California, USA, 25 July 1997, serves as Manager of Courses and Industry Partnerships.
Atheera has also lived in the US for a long time. He studied undergraduate at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, United States and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Human Services and Communication Studies.
Previously, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, admitted that he was nervous about the wedding of his first child, Anneesha Atheera Uno, in September.
Sandi said that Atheera would marry her school friend in Indonesia, Panji, after being in a relationship for nine years.
The newest member of the United Development Party (PPP) said that Atheera and Panji would get married in New York, United States because they both work and live in Uncle Sam’s country.

Sandi admitted that he immediately gave permission when Panji and Atheera expressed their intention to get married. In fact, the figure who is predicted to be the Vice Presidential Candidate companion to the Presidential Candidate, Ganjar Pranowo, asked his eldest daughter to get married immediately.
“When we came to ask for our approval (to get married), we immediately gave approval and it was immediately accelerated,” said Sandi.
Previously, news of Atheera and Panji’s wedding plans was announced by Sandi via his personal Instagram account (@sandiuno). In the upload, Sandiaga Uno and his family held a recital to take Atheera to marriage.
